Culinary Overview
“If you want to seed a place with activity, put out food. Food attracts people who attract more people.”
- William H. Whyte, Author, The Social Life of Small Urban Places
Food is a powerful force that brings people together, helps us transcend different cultures, flavors, and traditions, and connects us to our history. At CERES food is both an amenity and a foundation for “wellth” - healthy, sustainable, connected, and abundant living.
Through a collaboration with The Nourish Group, CERES will be home to innovative, culinary-centric businesses, including:
TNG INCUBATOR
The Incubator is designed to transform talented chefs into successful entreprenuers and will incubate 2-3 emerging chefs for an 18 – 24 month period as their concepts reach full development.
MARKET BUILDING
Butcher, baker, fish monger, and more, our market building, which is a play on the famed Mercados of Spain, will host a collection of independent food businesses and purveyors.
COOKERY SCHOOL
Inspired by Ballymaloe in Ireland, our cookery school will offer hobby cooks an opportunity to study Southern food and beverage traditions, flavors, and techniques during weekend and multi-week courses.
FINE-DINING CONCEPT
As a former voting panelist for the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, CERES founder, Dominique Love, is passionate about creating an intimate, fine-dining concept that will draw food lovers from around the globe.
ADDITIONAL CONCEPTS (Curated by TNG)
From a wine bar and a tap room to a speakeasy and a non-alcoholic concept, CERES will feature 2 – 3 micro bar concepts, a coffee shop, and a wine and bottle shop.
